Citation Guides

The resources listed below can be particularly helpful. The Anthropology Department generally follows guidelines from the AAA Style Guide. Ask your professor if he or she prefers a particular citation style, and consult the library's guide to citing sources for additional resources.

AAA Style Guide
Guide to documenting commonly cited resource in anthropology. Consult the Chicago Manual of Style in cases where the AAA Style Guide does not provide guidance.

The OWL provides online resources for using APA, MLA, and Chicago documentation styles.
