Remote Access to Artstor

Register for an Artstor Account

Register for an Artstor account:

Access the Artstor Digital Library.
In the Log In area at the upper right side of the screen, click Register.

Off Campus Access

After you have registered for an account, you will have 120 days of remote (off campus) access. After 120 days you will need to log in to Artstor from a computer on campus (or through the library’s proxy server) in order to reset your remote access for another 120 days.

About your Artstor account:

You must register for an account in order to use many of Artstor’s features, such as downloading images, curating and sharing groups of images, and downloading images to PowerPoint.

Images in Artstor come from a wide range of sources, and many of them are under copyright. Registered accounts ensure that Artstor meets their agreements with image contributors and protects their content.

NOTICE

NOTICE: PASSWORDS ARE NOW CASE SENSITIVE

With the release of the New Digital Library (July 2017), passwords became case sensitive. If you created your password prior to the new release, your password is saved in all lowercase. Entering your password with upper and lowercase will result in a mismatch. Please enter your password using all lowercase (even if you were previously entering upper and lowercase). If you enter your password incorrectly (using upper and lowercase for an existing password), you will be prompted to reset your password.

Passwords created after the new release are case sensitive.
