Introduction

Use this guide to find books, journal articles, and more for your research papers.

Tips:

Use the Bibliography of Asian Studies and Historical Abstracts first.  Remember to click on the Find It button if the full text is not immediately available. Use JSTOR last as it is a very large database that doesn't always bring back articles that will be pertinent to your research.

Use "quotation marks" to search for phrases.

When searching for books, use the limits on the right of the search screen to narrow down your search.

Remember to cite everything correctly!

If you need more help, don't hesitate to ask a librarian.
