Help With ~ RefWorks: Create an Account ~ Login to RefWorks

Create a RefWorks account.

1. Go to https://refworks.proquest.com.

2. Click Create account.

3. Enter your Hamilton email address.

4. Click the Check button. You will see a message, RefWorks is available at Hamilton.

5. Do not choose a password. Select Use login from my Institution.

6. Select Hamilton College from the dropdown menu. Login using your Hamilton credentials.
 

Note: If you accidentally create your account by choosing a password (without going through the “Use login from my institution” selection), simply associate your account with Hamilton. Go into Settings, under Shibboleth settings, click the Associate account button. You will be automatically redirected to Hamiton's RefWorks login page. Enter your Hamilton credentials; click login.

Login to RefWorks using your Hamilton ID and password.

2. Click Use login from my institution. Start typing Hamilton and select Hamilton College from the list of schools. On the Hamilton login screen, enter your Hamilton credentials.
