Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated experience that allows the user to be immersed in and/or interact with a virtual environment. Augmented Reality (AR) creates a digital addition, or layer, to your reality. This VR/AR resource guide is intended to offer information about the VR/AR learning opportunities available in Burke Library to students and faculty.
At Hamilton College, VR/AR has been used in many courses and for faculty research. Typical student assignments include creating online exhibits, exploring virtual reality environments, and writing research papers on innovative technologies.
If you would like to schedule a VR/AR session in Burke Library’s Makerspace, please use this request form.
