About the Production/Privacy Booths

There are four (4) soundproof production booths, located on the first floor in Burke Library, behind the Makerspace. They can be use to:

  • edit audio and video content
  • record interviews for a podcast
  • collaborate on a podcast or video project
  • attend a private telehealth or therapy session
  • participate in an online meeting or job interview
  • have a private online conversation
  • study in a quiet secluded space

A booth can be reserved for up to 3 hours. Each hour must be booked separately.

Instructions and support information for using the equipment can be found in this guide.

Forrest Warner and Michael Revenaugh, Instructional Designers, discussed the genesis and impact of Burke Library’s new production/privacy booths in a September 2024 episode of SUNY Oswego’s “Tea for Teaching” podcast.
