Install the RefWorks Add-on for Google Docs

  1. Open a blank Google document. Open the Extensions menu. Click Add-ons, then Get add-ons. Search for Refworks.
  2. Click the RefWorks logo, then click Install.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) with Google Docs requires an alternate password to log in. In your RefWorks account, click on your name in the top right corner, then select Settings. Scroll down to Alternate Password and click on Set alternate password. Create an alternate password and click Save. You will only need to use this (your Hamilton email address and alternate password) when you use Google Docs and the RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM).
